Week 64

Week 64

Wow, this week was so busy. So I'm going to make a long story short.

On Tuesday we were on a teaching visit, and then got a call and had to take an Elder to the airport early in the morning. On our way back we stopped because a car backed into our lane. Then a motorcycle ran into the back of us. The guy was banged up pretty bad and jumped in a car and drove to the hospital.

After all of that we went to the police station and we were doing some paperwork and we found out that I have the wrong licence to drive the van. So they put me in jail. I'm being dead serious, I got thrown in Jail, more of like I got arrested. I had to come get bailed for $20,000.

Then as we worked out some more things I actually wasn't driving illegally! I have to go to court this week. On the same day as Zone Conference so we had to move that.

It's rough sometimes to be a missionary. LOL I love it so much! I've had a lot of spiritual experiences this week as we are teaching and things, but I'm short on time.

If you have questions, I'd love to answer them. MOM DONT FREAK OUT!!! It was all pretty fun in the long run. We will see what court brings and some other things that haven't happened yet.

Love you all! Have a great week!

Love,
-Elder Andrus

(Sorry these are sideways)

Well, it was very much a week of administrating. Not too spiritual, but that is ok. 588 miles on the van and 33 hours behind the wheel this week!

Week 62

Week 62

Wow, it's September already! That's crazy! This week was kinda ruff but that is ok.

So last week I talked about Kevin and Richie. They are both doing good. School starts for Kevin today, I bet he isn't too excited about that. And neither are we... (we can't see him as much) We also met another awesome family named Sings. They are so cool. It's hard to find whole families in Guyana But we found one! We have loved teaching them a few lessons. They have helped me realize the great and eternal importance of family. I know that families are central to God's perfect plan. I can't wait to have my own family! :)

We went on two teaching visits this week. Both were pretty good! It's always fun to go with Elder Cooper. He is on of my best friends ever. So I don't know if ya'll remember but a while back we started teaching Paul/Labita/Latoya. They had some family issues and had to move. But we were able to talk them all down and all 3 are getting baptized. So awesome! They are so awesome.

I'm really excited to do transfers this week. Normally the Assistants will help us plan all of the things that we need to do over the transfers week. But what we have been doing lately is the AP's just send us the transfer sheet and then we do everything else. It's going to be awesome. We had to get up at 4:00 this morning. And 3:00 tomorrow morning, and 5:00 the next day, and 6:30 the next. Yay! Should be fun. Pray for me to make it through!

Love you!
