Week 8

Hola Familia!

This week was crazy awesome!! We had such a busy week. I don’t know how we keep up with all the demands that we have! But somehow we make it, and I love it so much! I love the work.

Monday we had a few great lessons. We taught Andy, his uncle just died and he had so many great questions about the Plan of Salvation POS (Even tho it is the opposite of a POS BAHAHAH) We also taught the Bacchus family again! They are progressing great! We are planning on giving them a Baptism date soon!!!

Tuesday was district meeting and exchanges. I "lead out the area" with Elder Peterson. He served in Rosehall for 5 transfers. So he totally knew everything that we were doing. It was great tho! We had a great lesson with Marsha and we are planning on giving her a baptism date here soon too!

Wednesday we exchanged back and saw a bunch of people. We saw Rohan, Kavo, Andrea, Dass, and Kimberlee. They were all great lessons! Andrea and the Dass Family both came to church on Sunday. Hopefully we can reactivate them soon!

Thursday Elder Cook and I gave back Marsha's Baptism date! She will most likely be ready for the 27 of August! She is such a great person and is so excited about the Gospel. She invited her JW's Friends over to a lesson and she comes and has other lessons with us!!

Friday I went on exchanges with Elder Nelson. He is from Jamaica and is about to die next transfer so he has tons of great experience. But most importantly, he made me Jerk fish. And I was 90% sure that I died and went to heaven.

Saturday we exchanged back and had some good lessons. Dolly and Sati and Renford. We taught the Restoration all day today! I love it!

Sunday was pretty "normal" We did all the things that missionaries do on Sunday. We also had a great lesson with Cynthia and Sis. Barbra. We taught the BOM and the Restoration in that order. Today was a huge horse race and it was really hard to get a car to take people around. So it was a huge blessing to see Sheena and Marsha at church! I was really nerves for them. But I think they are ready for Baptism.

I love it here so much! I love the work! I love the heat! I know that these people are looking for the gospel and they don’t even know they are looking for it! I love you all so much! thanks for all your prayers!

I told the story of Grandpa George and the gun and stuff to Elder Cook, Peterson, and Cooper. They are the only other missionaries in our District and Zone. We have a crazy split zone thing that is going on!

I’m still sick but I am working hard and there is nothing that can stop me from the work! And yes we talked to the mission doctor on the phone and she told me all the things to do to get better.

I love you all!
Love, Elder Andrus
